Pastor Harry Cain Jr.

Rev. Harry Cain, Jr. accepted and came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior and worshipped at the Bethany Baptist Church, in Petersburg, Virginia, under the spiritual leadership of the late Rev. William Lloyd James. He served on the Junior and Young Adult usher boards. Upon moving to Cleveland, Ohio in 1980, he became a member of Morning Star Baptist Church. In 1985, he was blessed to serve as a deacon. While serving at Morning Star, he answered the clarion call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He served faithfully in all aspects of the church ministries. In 1996, he joined Central Bible Baptist Church, Cleveland Heights, Ohio under the leadership of the late Rev. Robert L. Ferguson, where he later served as Assistant Pastor.

He was licensed in 1987 and ordained in 1998. In August 2009, Reverend Cain was installed as the Senior Pastor of Central Bible Baptist Church.

Reverend Cain was educated in the Petersburg Virginia School System and a 1997 graduate of Virginia State University. He is also a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago, Illinois. His current studies involves his enrollment in the Atlantic Coast Seminary Masters of Divinity program.

He currently resides in South Euclid, Ohio. He is married to his lovely wife Delores Cain, and the father of two beautiful daughters, Jamia and Katrice. In his professional career as a Project Manager and Call Center Manager, he has traveled to Europe, Asia and the Middle East. For ten years, he portrayed “Jesus Christ” in the Cleveland production of the ‘LIVING CROSS’ performing with such celebrities as Roz Ryan, Jennifer Holliday, LaShaun Pace Rhodes, Lynette Hawkins Stevens, and Yolanda Adams.

Reverend Cain’s desire in ministry is to serve the Lord in the local church. He has a strong aspiration to use his gifts and talents to further the gospel of Christ, and to serve along side men and women of God who are servants of grace for the Lord.
